W. T. Frick is a artist based in a place that is not her own. She is taking a hiatus from being another type of artist. She is taking a hiatus from being another type of person. She makes comics, she also does freelance illustration and bartends. Recent accomplishements include paying her rent, not crying on the subway, finding a few of the many typos in her comics, and an upcoming abandon of something that might be forgotten. She is a pseudonym for another woman, or perhaps she is simply a mirror reflecting the spirit animal of blissfully giving up.

ABOUT THE COMIC:

IPSUM LORUM is a love-letter to the impossible demand, to labour treated as leisure, to form as content. It’s a near-to-the future story about a phenomenon some refer to as ‘doubling’. Symptoms include hyper-productivity, dopple-gangers and the development of an affective babble akin to ipsum lorem; the moment of becoming a placeholder for something else.
