Before them, children enjoy a meal and other comforts provided by the power of mutual aid. As they look towards one another they can see this incredible home they have built for themselves, their friends, their kids, and their community. Their home on the hill for the time being feels invincible. It is a fortress—of love, of solidarity, of care, and of guns.
